31st March 2010 Improvizone
| | An electronic/ambient/chillout live instrumental music evening that has been running in London since Feb 2007. Organiser and electronic drummer Andrew Booker leads a collection of players who use effects technology, and increasingly their own software, to make an evening of beautiful and totally unusual music. At The Plough, Improvizone feature their own semi-abstract video projections throughout the evening, while the dimly lit band build up their beats and soundscapes below. Improvizone gigs are always recorded, and highlights are added to the growing list of free downloads available from the Improvizone website, http://improvizone.org/. Gigs are free admission. Wander in and out as you like. Playing usually starts by 8.30pm and finishes by 11pm.
